A Bit about me
An erudite scholar who started his working career from the academics, at the Bayero University Kano. He later joined the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) where he rose to the position of Director. Among other departments, he headed the Human Resources Department and Strategy Development Department. He also served as Executive Director in the former Century Merchant Bank. After retirement, he took up a career in consulting as well as academic work with Baze University, Abuja.
He has worked on a number of projects for the NDIC, INEC, NNPC and the Presidency. His expertise is in Organizational Development, Performance Management, Business Process Analysis, Social/Community Analysis and Retirement Planning. Dr Auwal has a BSc. Sociology (Bayero University, Kano), MSc. Human Resources Management (Ohio State University, USA) and D Phil Complex Organizations (University of Sussex,
UK.) and is a certified Balanced Score Card practitioner. In the course of his career, he attended many local and international courses in the areas of Banking, Finance, Deposit Insurance and Human Resources organized by Federal Reserve Bank of USA, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation of America, etc. Dr Auwal brings his expertise and experiences to bear in the delivery of service to the clients of Ruphado Consulting Limited.
